i had bad skin for years.. & i refuse to go on birth control right now. i don’t have like the normal acne that can be treated with proactive & skin id. i have nodules (cyst like things). i only got like 1 or 2 at a time, but they were really painful & annoying. i went to sooo many skin specialists & tried so many things (wasted sooo much money).. & my last skin specialist finally prescribed a reallyyyy low dosage of blood pressure meds. it works really well.

Oh my gosh, someone’s trying to be helpful and your slamming them? I say YOUR the idiot.

  12. zxXalienXxz on February 22nd, 2010 2:20 am

You’re dumb as hell. Whether you have acne or not doesn’t just depend on what products you use.. genetics play a huge part in what your skin is like. Obviously she never replied to your comment after a month bc she doesn’t want your help. idiot.

  13. deabrat on February 22nd, 2010 3:11 am

i think it depends on the person. my sister tried it and it made her skin brake out REALLY badly!

  14. persianxxprincess on February 22nd, 2010 3:27 am

Yeah I got skin ID after I watched this video and it’s just like any other acne product I’ve tried. It seems to be working great at first and then my skin gets used to it and it stops working all of a sudden. Same goes for proactive.

  15. LoveSongBlue on February 22nd, 2010 3:28 am

Rice water works as a good toner to make your skin pretty.

  16. makeupisfunable on February 22nd, 2010 4:07 am

yes, toothpaste does help. but only a zit. if you put it on an area, it will dry it out reall badly. it will usually clear up a ahite head in about three days. it will make it go down the first day so you can cover it up, i hope i helped!

I’m pretty sure it’s the fluoride that does the trick, not the toothpaste. they say to put toothpaste on your pimples because of the fluoride that’s in it. so its not really the toothpaste, but supposedly if you use toothpaste with fluoride in it, it works. I have tried it before and it’s not all that great but i would give it a try.

my sisters had bad acne cuz of the products in their hair-when they sweat it smears onto their face or sleep it travels from the pillow onto their face-my brother im guessing is because hes got a very oily face-i usually get pimples on my period-i’ll get 1 on my chin like always-but everynight i let the hot water steam the bathroom, jump in the shower wash my face with soap then put lotion on (olay) n im good 2go-every1 is different-Listerine helps me-dab a lil on the zit 3x a day for 2-3 days

  20. starpuff714 on February 22nd, 2010 6:39 am

does toothpaste really help? i learned this on wikihow and im about to try it. should i? i need your advice.

  21. Gingers272 on February 22nd, 2010 6:43 am

that is true, this is the FIRST thing someone must do when their skin goes crazy overnight. aggressive products won’t do anything but basically ‘burn’ your skin, strip it off its natural ph balance and create side effects such as premature wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. see a doctor and improve your diet and lifestyle (quit smoking or alcohol consumption, for example, get at least 8 hrs of sleep, etc). in all the videos on skincare, nobody thinks of this……

  22. Gingers272 on February 22nd, 2010 6:47 am

it’s annoying when people think skin care only will improve their complexions. The puss inside the acne comes from the inside, people. The infection, because that is what causes pimples, emerges at the surface of the skin because you either cannot properly metabolize the fats you consume or you consume too much. Start DIETING- no more fried food, no alcohol and increase the consume of acid vegetables and fruits- tomatoes, apples and strawberries especially. IT WILL make A HUGE difference.

    Also, try taking L-Lysine.
It’s a vitamin for skin and it realllllly helps with acne.

Got something to say?
